Project Description

The interactive kiosk project was developed for Ontario Park, designed to provide visitors with an engaging and informative digital experience. Built for a 1920x1080 touchscreen interface, the kiosk highlights key places to visit within the park, along with rich historical context and practical information. The interface combines user-friendly navigation with visually appealing content, allowing users to explore the park’s natural landmarks, cultural significance, and unique features. The result is an immersive experience that enhances visitor engagement and deepens appreciation for Ontario Park’s history and landscape.

Process

The process for designing the Ontario Park interactive kiosk started with research into the park’s geography, history, and key attractions to shape the content and user experience. I created wireframes to outline the structure and navigation flow, ensuring intuitive access to information about must-visit locations and historical highlights. The design phase focused on a clean, nature-inspired layout with readable typography and a color scheme that reflects the park’s natural environment. Accessibility was a priority throughout, and I developed interactive prototypes to test functionality, refine user interactions, and ensure a smooth, informative experience for all visitors.
